Building Cohesion

Human Bingo

This is a fun activity that promotes social interaction and learning names. Participants mingle and try to find people who fit specific descriptions on a bingo card (e.g., "has climbed a mountain," "speaks another language"). It's a lighthearted way to break the ice and build connections.

Blindfolded Trust Walk

This activity builds trust, communication, and clear instruction. One team member is blindfolded and navigates an obstacle course guided by verbal instructions from their teammate. This fosters trust in the guide and effective communication to complete the course.

Pyramid Built off

Teams are given paper cups which they have to use to build a pyramid. The catch is that they cannot use their hands. A variation to this is to use balloons. This fosters trust in the guide and effective communication to complete the course.

Team Scavenger Hunt

This activity promotes teamwork, problem-solving, and resourcefulness. Teams work together to find clues and complete tasks within a set timeframe. This encourages communication, collaboration, and creativity as they strategize to win the scavenger hunt.

Dance off

Teams are asked to put on their dancing shoes and present a group dance on a song of their choice. They have to present a well chorographed dance sequence adding layers of complexity and moves to make it a good impression in the minds of the judges. The participants love to be moving again like kids and have fun. The pressure to score well for their teams brings in a element of seriousness.

Jig Saw Jam

Teams complete series of events to earn a piece of a puzzle. This require teamwork to achieve a larger common goal rather than individual competition. In the end all the pieces of each team further becomes 1 giant message. This fosters communication, collaboration, and problem-solving as teams work together to overcome challenges and win the game.

Group Juggling

This activity promotes teamwork, communication, and coordination. Teams work together to keep objects like scarves or beanbags in the air by throwing and catching them in sequence. This requires communication, timing, and trust to succeed.

Human Knot Untangling

This activity promotes communication, problem-solving, and collaboration under pressure. Teams stand in a circle and blindly reach out to grab the hands of two other people. The challenge is to untangle themselves from the human knot without letting go of hands. This encourages clear communication and strategic thinking to solve the physical knot.

Paint Me Too

Teams are given canvases and asked to use their imagination & paint the canvas. They are given limited time and resourses and asked to make the best possible use of the resourses. The paintings of all the teams are joined to form a large cohesive canvas.

Overcoming Challenges

Wall Sit Challenge

This activity builds teamwork, perseverance, and shared effort. Teams perform a wall sit together, holding onto each other for support. This requires teamwork and shared effort as everyone contributes to holding the squat for as long as possible.

Raft Building

This activity fosters collaboration, problem-solving, and resource allocation. Teams work together to construct a functional raft using limited materials (cardboard, rope, etc.). This encourages them to communicate effectively, delegate tasks, and utilize resources creatively to build a raft that can float.

Minute to Win It Challenges

These are a series of quick, fast-paced challenges that require dexterity, coordination, and thinking on your feet. Teams compete in a series of one-minute challenges, promoting teamwork, communication, and a fun spirit of competition.

Blindfolded Obstacle Course

This activity builds trust, communication, and clear instruction. One team member is blindfolded and navigates an obstacle course with verbal instructions from their teammate. This promotes trust in the guide and effective communication to complete the course safely.

Number Stamping

Number s are strewn all over the floor. Teams have to move from the number in ascending or descending order. The catch is that only 1 person can be in the designated area and total silence has to be maintained throught out the event.

Actuator Build Off

In this activity, teams are asked to built a co-ordinated and controlled movement of various objects aligned in a way that the balloon at the end should burst. The catch is that they have to use all the object and do it within certain number of tries and time limit. This forces the team members to use their problem solving skills and collaborate effectivetly.

Hula Hoop Lava walk

The feets of the team members are tied to each other. Hula hoops are given to them as the only area they can step-in in an otherwise lava zone. They have to carry life saving water from the source to the destination.

Team Plank Hold

This activity builds teamwork, endurance, and shared effort. Teams work together to hold a plank position for as long as possible, supporting and motivating each other. This emphasizes shared goals and the importance of teamwork in achieving them.

Tower Building with Limited Supplies

This activity fosters creativity, problem-solving, and resourcefulness. Teams are tasked with building the tallest possible tower using limited materials (straws, paperclips, etc.). This encourages them to think outside the box, collaborate effectively, and utilize resources creatively to build a stable and tall structure.

Catapult Build off

Teams are given limited materials using which they have to make their own catapults. This is their weapon of mass diestruction which is used to destroy a pyramid far off. This brings in innovation, problem-solving, and resourcefulness.
